I was excited to try Huck House but our experience wasn’t great. We both ordered Eggs Benedict and all 4 eggs were cook thru. Very disappointing.
We made a reservation for 9:45 am. The whole party arrived at 9:35. The restaurant was half empty. The two hosts were standing behind the cash register and told us we will be sat at the reserved time. That was an awkward 10 minutes we stood next to them, 10 empty tables, few servers standing around. The food was not tasty and very oily.
We made a reservation and then had to wait 30 minutes past that time to be seated. It took forever to then have our order taken. The server was pretty abrupt and did not provide the best customer service. Half of our table liked their food and half of the table didn't. For the price we paid, which I'm OK paying if the food is good and the service is good, but the value for what we received was not worth it. The place itself is super cute great environment. However the service was very poor with all interaction with the staff. Very disappointed that service was poor. Food was good but the overall experience was poor due to poor service and lack of service.
Service is awful, waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged and over an hour for our food to arrive and server didn't even seem to care nor apologetic for the extreme delay. Same experience as a prior experience
Nothing against the wait staff but it took us an hr to get drinks and our food. It was busy and not sure if they were short staffed but it took longer than usual to get our items.
Unfortunately I am very sad to say that me and my boyfriend had a horrible experience. It took almost 40 minutes for two meals(it was very slow in the restaurant this day) after waiting that long my food has to be remade because they put the wrong items in my omelet. We then waited another 25-30ish minutes for my new omelet to be made. i ended up just boxing it up and throwing it away at home it was awful.
They forgot our table once we sat. 20 mins later they finally asked if we been helped. Once we got our food we had been sitting for 45 mins and only offered 1 round of our drinks in that 45 mins. They need a non maple dipped bacon. Original bacon is fine how it is without being soaked in maple syrup. This was our second time trying after they first reopened. Both of my plates came out lukewarm, the waiter took a long time to take our order, the food was slow, the atmosphere felt cheap, the food was not a reasonable price for what was given and the bathroom was horrific.
