The office and technical staff are well organized and efficient. Appointments are almost always right on time. Everyone is professional and thorough, they answer questions and work to make patients as comfortable as possible! Dr Merrill explains things in a way that they are understandable. She offers and explains options!

I was attended quick and examine completely very satisfactorily, feeling very satisfied with my examination result.
Staff was friendly and very helpful in explaining what the next step was going to be. Doctor was friendly and explained details of what was going on and gave me helpful information. They even helped schedule an appointment to see a different eye specialist.
I always have had the discomfort having drops into my eyes. For the first time of all my previous visits, the new tech did wonderful job placed the eye drops into the corners of my eyes with great comfort, rather than forcing to open my eyes in the center to insert drops. She said she had worked with children and that technique worked as well for adults. The downside is the two hour visit.
In the oak park office of Il Retina Associates i am particularly impressed a d grateful for the cheerful, courteous people who work there. Their patience with the elderly is particularly noteworthy. Cristal and Karen were good examples this morning, but they all are really terrific. Maria at the front desk desk remembers my name.....there must be hundreds of patients.
