Extensive testing
I’m from out of town and I noticed a shadow appear in the bottom right corner of my eye at lunch on Sunday. I called Illinois Retina Associates at 8AM on Monday and I had a 1:30 appointment. Dr. Chaturvedi examined me and scheduled me for 6PM surgery. Boom boom. It went very well and I had a follow up appointment with Dr. McCumber on Tuesday. Everything looked good so I see them in a week for the next follow up. Such great service. I highly recommend Illinois Retina Associates.
Appointment was on time and thorough. This was a follow up for a problem with central cirrus retinopathy that Dr. MaComber did laser surgery on. It is good to know that two excellent physicians are available at the clinic.

Dr. Chaturvedi is an excellent doctor. He is warm, caring, quick, efficient, and skilled. I've been seeing Dr. C for four years; his high standards and staff service remain the same. I recently had a retina tear. His team was incredibly responsive and squeezed me into the doctor's already jam-packed schedule for triage. Dr. C performed an immediate laser repair and continues to oversee the healing process five weeks later. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a retina specialist.
The office was very slow - I didn’t get to see him until an hour past my appointment time. But when I did get in, things went smoothly. I was a bit nervous when Dr. Flood retired, but Dr. C has been great. Very glad to be seeing him!
