Orders from them many times and this times was rather frustrating. After a repeat order of mild butter chicken my husband wanted a medium tikka masala so I added it to the order. When I got the food, the contents of the butter chicken were in the tikka masala curry and the veggies and chicken from the tikka was in my buttered chicken. I called the restaurant and they assured me that the curry veggies was the tikka and didn't listen to me adamantly stating that I was sure it was switched. Food was very very spicy. Could not eat.
The Mumbai Pav Bhaji tasted so heavily of garam masala that you couldnt taste anything else. It's as if it was spices were there to cover up ta complete lack of flavor. I ordered also ordered the Burnt Garlic Rice with chicken and there were barely five small pieces of chicken included in a massive portion of rice. It also lacked any flavor at all and the chicken was friend and soggy. Lastly the Rose Milk Shake was SO sweet that igad a stomach ache before barely finishing half of it. I would never order from here again.
Butter Chicken no flavor at all, sauce is broken (probably from cooking too hot), and is super watery. never tasted Butter Chicken like this, they must have made a mistake since it was a Chef Specialty. We could not even eat it. Gross.
Chole tasted different than we tasted before from this restaurant. I loved their chole in the past but today I was disappointed a little.
We ordered food from here soya chaap, malai kofta and naan , all were bland and had lot of oil and masala ... I don't know why Desi restaurants think that putting masala and oil on gravies will make it taste better... Worst food in Chicago area. If I were you I will stay away from this place
All the dishes were at best a second copy of authentic Indian food. Lucknow Boneless Dum Biryani seemed like the lamb was added as an after thought to rice fried in spicy mix Indian spices. Same goes for Tandoori Lamb Chop - land cooked separately dipped in tandoori Spice mix.. Lamb was overcooked in both the dishes. Indian meat delicaies shine when the meat absorbs the spices and it wasnt the case here. Disappointing!
you can't call this thing panang curry. its merely an indian curry with some some thai panamg flavor and fails horribly from both indian and thai sides.
