I went to Dr. Handwerger for extreme exhaustion and high cholesterol. He performed lipid and ordered a lipoprotein test. After five years of questioning my other physician on my high cholesterol (260) without a response or a lipoprotein test ordered, a CAC test showed 25 % blockage in my Left artery and 190 (moderately high score) of plaque overall. I was not too sure about consulting by phone. Dr Bronner remembers everything from previous visit, has chart on hand and us just as thorough as in person. He in never in a hurry even if he has to explain over and over again.
He is an excellent doctor who takes the time to understand his patient's issues and needs before providing a thoughtful, detailed, and easily understandable path to wellness.
Dr. Bronner is the rare doctor that actually cares about you as a person, as opposed to simply focusing on treating a particular ailment and getting you out the door. He's thoughtful, kind, empathetic, and thinks about health holistically.
I’ve now seen Dr Silberman a handful of times for complicated hand problems resulting from rock climbing. He’s always attentive and engaged and constantly impresses me with the breadth of his knowledge and ability to explain things. Would definitely recommend him.
