Most of the pools were dirty and had small white things floating in them... it looked like dead skin. Which makes me think they aren't filtering the pools properly and/or there's something wrong with the water flow. My throat started hurting after I left and now my voice is mostly gone. I don't have a cold and I don't have tonsils that can swell... my fiancé is also sick, since he was there with me.

Sorry to hear you weren't feeling well, Santana. Those "floaty things" are sulphur based, natural algae, that comes up from the ground water. The algae blooms in the sun and that's what you are seeing. This summer, we will be installing a new filtration system, not because there is a problem with the algae but because even though the algae is harmless and known to moisturize the skin, some guests want to see a pool without this natural substance. All pools are indeed filtered so you can rest assured that you were safe.
No better way to spend a cool spring day that a good soak. We will be back again.
