We’ve been staying at the same rental in Hickory Cove for the past 3 years. We were highly disappointed this year. We picked up our keys at 4 (check in is 4-6) and walked into a filthy mess. We have used IGR for many years. Unfortunately, the last few years experiences have been very disappointing. This year's home had a non working oven, the carpets were filthy, a shower in one bedroom did not work, and we caught a large rat in the kitchen (yes a rat.) For 13k a week, we expect a better maintained home.
We had an awful experience with our recent rental and will probably never use this company again. We rented 2214 villamare this past week and the place was beyond disgusting!!! The cleaning company had to come out TWO times! They told us that this owner used this property for just an income and it was totally noticeable! We were very disappointed with this management co. We never received our package with the map, entry code, etc. We arrived after dark from Calif. and spent 2 hrs. locating the rental office. It took 2 days to get the pool code from them. The condo was not "ocean front" as stated. It was not "luxury". It had dirty pillows and no basic amenities @ dish soap, hair dryer, facial tissue. This was my first time dealing with this company and I had a very disappointing experience. We had a family of 20 booked for aThanksgiving getaway and were able to get their advertised Fall Special for a home that accommodated our entire group. Almost 2 weeks after we had paid our deposit I get a call saying the owner "has something going on that week" and we would have to be moved.
