I wrote a review a few months back, and I again have just been so pleased with the care and attention received from this hospital. My dog and my cat have been so well looked after. The support staff is extremely professional and accommodating. I even had a technician offer (and they did it!) to drop off prescription dog food to my house on their way home from work! The service and care provided have always been outstanding. The team are friendly, professional and knowledgeable and have your pet's best interest at heart. After every appointment I've had the vet call to check in on how my dog has been doing and provide support and advice as needed over the phone.
I have been bringing my dog to Dr. Spence and team for years. They have always taken amazing care of my furry family and am so thankful for their expertise and warm heart. I also find they are always able to provide you with multiple treatment options with various budgets in mind. I have been to a number of different vet clinics over the years and they are by far the best!
Dr. Erin Spence is a wonderful vet, compassionate and very caring (I switched vets as my original one was terrible). Unfortunately my fur-baby only saw Dr. Spence once before he died but the aftercare I received was amazing. I even got a condolence card from Dr. Spence. Highly recommended, my next fur-child will definitely be going to Dr. Spence.
Amazing compassion since first visit was for my sick Jake who had to be put down. They were kind, knowledgeable and honest. Will be bringing my other fur babies here.
I met Dr Spence and her team after another nearby vet had caused my Samoyed some long term health problems by misdiagnosing an ailment and then prescribing the wrong drugs. Stella's issues were numerous, her health eventually became very delicate and she required various treatments many times each day. I was extremely impressed by this vet office. I took my dogs in for the first time since moving for their annual exam and was amazed at how accommodating they were in getting me in quietly with my large somewhat nervous dog. My dog calmed immediately after going inside and she responded so positively to the vet. I saw two of the three vets here during my two appointments and both were incredible with my dogs. Best of The Best. I tried at least 3 different vets around the area and I am more than happy to have found Dr. Spence. She really cares for my dog, they are extremely organized, and send me reminders all the time. They treat my dog like a special patient and not like just another customer. I love feeling that my dog's vet is a fantastic human being. The whole team is very special. I am more than grateful and would recommend to anybody to come here.
I've been meaning to review Islington Village Animal hospital for a couple of years now, but my cat just had a recent surgery here that has solidified how much I trust this place.
