I highly DO NOT recommend what used to be Southern Self Storage, which has now been bought/sold/rebranded to iStorage. I have two units at this facility and ever since it was sold, they have increased their rates twice in the last three months (19.3% increase from the agreed upon price). As a local military member leaving the local area, they also do not allow you to prorate if you move mid-month with a 30+ day notice. I rented online from my home in Texas. Then when I arrived several days later, Cindy helped me with signing my lease and accessing my unit. The next day, Cindy and Rene were sympathetic when Home Depot just left my delivery in the driveway - I had to move the delivery to my unit myself. They even gave me some water. Great experience.
I have been renting a unit at Southern Self Storage for almost two years. I just rented a second unit today. The facilities are extremely clean and feel safe. The staff is very helpful. It is an all around good place to rent a unit.
