I am very disappointed in this daycare! Never have I felt so discriminated against due to my race as well as my son's disability upon trying to enroll my son in the Pre-K program. When I initially called inquiring about enrollment information I was told that the 350-B class would be great for him and there was only 7 students enrolled in the class, which I was very excited about. After the initial conversation, I never received the follow up documentation. I decided to call back after two days. The story had changed. The... read more
Business response:
Dear Mrs. Shemesha, I want to assure you with absolute certainty that our institution does not have a Class 350-D or a faculty member with a PhD at Ivy Kids Birnahwoods. There is very high chance you are reffering to another education center. I completely understand the importance of clarity and accuracy when it comes to your child’s education, and I appreciate your diligence in seeking the best. Your unwavering dedication as a parent is truly commendable. Navigating the complexities of education requires patience, re... read more
Do not leave your kids here. Trust the negative reviews!!! We put my 3 year old grandson here and at first we thought his crying at drop off was because it was new to him. After watching the cameras we caught the teacher at nap time holding him down with her legs! We immediately went to get him and confronted the director who brushed it off and had the nerve to say that maybe it wasn't a good fit. What kind of teacher forcibly holds a toddler down!!!!!! We are now at another center where he is so excited everyd... read more

During my 2 1/2 years at Ivy Kids, I've seen things go from "ok" to terrible. That being said, there are some wonderful teachers who have hung on but those are few and far between with the rest being a revolving door of new faces. In addition to new teachers, there is no stability in administration (4 administrators in 2 years). The owner seems to care little for the teachers, administrators and parents. Full disclosure, my child had an issue with biting. After several pleas from me (meetings, phone calls, etc) for ideas in ... read more

This is a curriculum based center with live camera access for parents and homemade meals. Tuition is reasonable and comparative to other area options. While the campus is adequate, the curriculum plan seems robust, and the food healthy and fresh, there is something just not right about this place. It's like no one wants to be there. The center staff is rude and they have a restrictive "no parents in the classroom policy", which I can understand, but it prevents parents from being able to engage with the teachers because the ... read more

Terrible location. Would not work with you and automatically say is the kids fault. I was never told me kid had a behavior problem. And 2 days straight in a row my son was running to get out of the daycare. The daycare secretary called me to pick up. I was told the daycare is given 10-12 kids per adult and are not able to monitor the kids if one runs. Then I'm not given a solution only it was a behavior issue. Mind you I had asked to see how my child was doing and was told only that he I was doing good and worked good with o... read more
