Who We Are JFDenney was founded in 1952 by John Sr. and Dorothy Denney, who operated the business from their home until 1963 until purchasing a building on 5th Avenue in Leavenworth, KS. In 1984, John and Dorothy sold the business to their sons John Jr. and Don Denney. Don retired in 1997 and John retired in 2017. Today the business is in its third generation-owned and operated by Mark and Becky Denney.
