I decided not to schedule my appointment with him because the receptionist I spoke with, Cindy, was so rude and unhelpful.

This dental office was my family's worst dentist experience ever since we moved to Pensacola, FL about a year ago. My husband and I gave them a chance to improve for over a year but they remained consistently poor in customer service skills. The front office staff is not friendly. Our situation may be a little unique because we get perio maintenance done there along with cleanings/exams. I loved the assistant, her name was Judy. She was really nice and made me feel comfortable. As for Dr.Covan he was just plain rude. Yanked my head, said something and told me he wasn't talking to me that I needed to be quiet. Excuse me? You're in my mouth, doing a procedure on MY mouth. If you're talking about MY mouth and how I can hemorrhage I'm going to reply. As for the other people they were super nice and make me comfortable. Just the dr was a dick. Dr Covan yelled at my child for crying while having a cavity filled. He also yelled at his staff. My son was scared since he is only five. The dentist didn't bother to explain the procedure to my son before hand and didn't even try to calm his fears. The dentist didn't even talk to me after the procedure. My sons first experience with a dentist turned into a nightmare and I was absolutely horrified!
