I visited Dr. McDonnell to ask if he could fix my crossed eyes with surgery, and he was very confident that he could. He was so confident that I was almost suspicious, since I thought based on previous discussions with optometrists that my situation was unusually difficult.I ended up going through with Dr. McDonnell's surgery, and it turned out that his confidence was warranted. I am 64 years old and have had a wandering eye my whole life. My right eye ball faced outward. I had several surgeries for it in the past and Dr. McDonnell removed lots of scar tissue and straightened my eye. Now both of my eyes face forward and my double vision is gone. I never noticed how green my eyes are. I always avoided loving my eyes because I was ashamed how I looked. Thank you Dr. McDonnell. You have truly made a difference in my life.
Dr. McDonnell and Strabismus Surgery changed my life. I was very Self-Conscious for years hiding my eye under my hair because of Strabismus. Finally, I found Dr. McDonnell, that said he could help me! First time I heard that. He is a very kind and caring Dr. that wants to better peoples lives and he's very funny too! Surgery and recovery was a breeze, he is with you all the way. I would highly recommend him for this surgery and any eye care needs.
After finding no relief from various specialists for my strabismus, I was told that Dr. McDonnell is the “best of the best” in surgically treating the condition. He absolutely is. Following eye surgery by Dr. McDonnell, my sight has been fully restored. I couldn’t recommend him more highly.

I'm 53 years old and lived with strabismus and tilted my head to compensate. I had 2 previous surgeries to correct the problem and neither worked.
