RecommendedCo worker recommended them to me & I took a chance. I’m not a fan of dentist at all and they made me feel at ease. There was talk of of Harry Potter & dogs which made me forget that I was at the dentist. If you’re not a fan of dentist I would give them a try. Their staff is super friendly and they care about the welfare of your teeth.
I had to switch dentists due to my prior dentist not accepting my insurance anymore. I am so happy I found James River family dentistry. The staff is friendly and they do an amazing job explaining what is going on and what they’re doing. Dr. Guthrie Is professional, personable and so nice! It truly is family atmosphere and I love that!

Hands down the best Dental practice I have ever been to! Staff is very professional, courteous, and extremely knowledgeable. If you are looking for a great Dentist, please book an appointment with Dr. Guthrie.. I feel comfortable in her hands and judgement, and in the past I have had anxiety going to the Dentist. Gotta give a shout out to Marley(therapy dog), he helps more than you would think. Keep up the great work gang!
