I was transferred from another hospital to Dr Stankiewicz. While pregnant, I awoke one morning to my eye emerging from its socket. I was starting to lose eyesight and Dr. Stankiewicz took my case. He operated and found I had a sinus infection and tumor, which blocked my sinus cavity. The pressure from the infection caused it to drain behind my eye. He saved my vision. I highly recommend him.
Dr. Stankiewitz cured my chronic sinutitus in two weeks that couldn't be cured by my former ENT over a three year period. With the cure came the return of my sense of smell which had neen lost for three years snd defied treatment. Through the miracle of his somnoplasty procedure he treated my enlarged turbinates (lining of my nose) making breathing through my nose possible without the use oxf strong nasal sprays like Afrin. I can now smell clearly, breathe freely without Afrin and tissues.
Friendly comforting manner
Was in this office for a total of 12 minutes. That is including putting some numbing gel in my nose so he could look for a problem in my sinuses. He ended up telling me to look online to see what I could find that is wrong with me. Imagine.. he is the specialist and I should look online? For that I get a bill for over $650! after they charged my PPO insurance, that is in their plan. No resolution to a sinus problem but now a $650 bill. This doctor is an imposter. RUN away.. do NOT see this doctor for anything.
very upset on how this was handle for my surgery, made the apt now I need clearance, in which I have none of the diagnosis that was stated never tested for COPD, HEART FIB FROM OVER ACTED THRYOID. SURE I AGREE THEY NEED TO BE CAREFUL BUT SCHEDU;LE A PT THEN CANCEL THEM CAUSE , NO I WLD NEVER COME TO LOLYOLA AGAIN FOR ANY SURGERY
Used medication I have had severe reactions to even though it was in my records and I told him clearly at my 1st and pre-op visit & post op. In a hurry.
