Leaky Leaky valves with defective seal.
Leaked severely I’ve used many of these - but the latest was missing its primary o-ring seal and leaked immediately.
Leaks from the start. The media could not be loaded. I bought/installed two of these to replace the main drain/skimmer diverted valve and the overflow/flush valve. I presume the main/skimmer valve isn’t leaking, but can’t confirm. I CAN confirm the overflow vale is leaking. How do I get a replacement without returning it—after cutting it out and all that….
Arrived defective After I did the install I noticed that no matter how I turned the valve I would get flow from both lines. I opened the valve up and notice a little play in it explaining why it was not working. After further inspection I could see that it was cracked and no good. I didn’t want to deal with returning the item so I was able to take that piece out from my old one. My 20 year old valve worked when this new one did not.
Valve was shipped without an O ring I have used Jandy valves for years, always been satisfied until this order. My new pool pump would not prime after new valve installed. Removed the Jandy valve cover and found NO O RING. The O rings for the handle were present. Used the O ring from the old valve to get pump running until I could order a new O ring. I would ask for a refund except that the valve in installed in my system and I cannot return it. I would recommend that you check your new Jandy valves for ALL O rings prior to ... read more
