Great replacement for old Jandy valves This valve replaces the older style Jandy valves. You only have to disassemble the old valve drop this one in and replace the old grease cap with the new one that this included.
Smart Choice I ordered this valve to replace an existing Jandy valve that controls our pool slide/waterfall. The original is a lubricated valve, but because the valve is never really closed, the valve never got lubricated and was extremely difficult to turn, and almost impossible to turn off at the right spot. The kit included the diverter valve with 2 "O"-rings on the top, along with a red plug to fill the grease fitting, and a nut to lock the handle. Doesn’t fit straight. This was not a JANDY product. Buy OEM instead This is not a Jandy. Didn’t fit snugly. Buy a Jandy OEM INSTEAD .
PEFECT OEM Jandy Diverter proper size O-Rings! Fit and Functioned like a custom glove! Smooth operation. Good NeverLube Seals. You will find cheaper knock-offs online and ebay, but nothing compares the quality of these. I know. Ordered a cheaper version on ebay for $19.00 each. 6 of them. They were PURE JUNK. Cover O-Ring was not correct OEM diameter. Close, but after replacing six valves at one time, ALL 6 Leaked from the cover, only to discover the O-rings were slightly smaller thickness! Way better than the older version 🤗 I purchased the older version first with the hard plastic like sealer and was very disappointed. It allowed my spa to slowly drain into my pool while running the pool. This one on the other hand is made up of a thick rubberized silicone that provides maximum leak protection. Tested it out went to work and came home to find the spa was still at the level I left it. Don't buy the older version if you are trying to prevent slow leaks....
