Excellent Pod Light's With Bonus Features. An excellent set of Ppod lights with some nice added feature from Auxbeam. Well made and solid cast aluminum housing with a great finish. The housings have a good amount of fins for heat dissipation to keep the lights cool during extended use. Included amber covers keep the lenses safe and add an extra layer of functions. Auxbeam makes good quality components. I've bought a few things from Auxbeam and they all are very good quality. These lights are no exception, nice clear optics, nice housing and mounts. The included wiring harness is quality as well with good wires and connectors. These are good lights overall.
Nice but pricey These are really nice lights. They're well-made and the cases seem solid and durable. They don't feel cheaply made like some of the less expensive lights. They have a great beam pattern and are just what I was looking for. The clip-on amber lens covers are nice. That gives me the option of white lights or amber lights in one set. I've always been impressed with Auxbeam lights, and these are no exception. I'f you are looking for a nice, durable set of lights, I highly recommend these.
Bright! These are awesome add-on lights for any vehicle! I was able to mount them quickly with my existing hood brackets. The included wiring harness kit is a decent quality. I used the DT ends from the relay harness and spliced into my already existing fused wires. The light output is bright with a pure white color. The included yellow lenses work well if you prefer that color instead. The housings feel durable and look great. Overall a good value!
Something that doesn't cost $800+ to do that same job Ok, I love the off road overlanding scene. And there are folks out there that needs the best and will pay for the best. I understand that and it's nothing wrong with wanting the best for your specific needs.For a casual off road camper, I don't need to spend top dollar stuff on my old rig, just products that are capable and almost if not just as good for a much better price.Rigid lights and Spod controllers are the cream of the crop, but out of my budget.Did some research... read more
Should’ve installed them right away so I could’ve returned them Once I finally installed these a couple months after receiving, immediately had an issue with the plugs/sockets in the back of the lights. They’re a waterproof plug, but the tolerance ,in and out once locked in, was so bad that if pushed all the way in, they wouldn’t work. So I had to push them in until they locked, then pull them out against the locking tab. But they would vibrate around and stop working occasionally.
