Dr. Thawani was very thorough and knowledgeable, you have his full attention and time and he will make you feel like family! My brain biopsy was explained in a manner that was very easy to understand and made me feel comfortable. The procedure was a success and in my opinion Dr. Thawani is someone I would say was put exactly where God knew he would do GREAT things!!
Dr. Thawani is an excellent neurosurgeon and highly recommended by me. He did a lumbar spinal fusion on me two months ago and my back feels wonderful. He is very respectful and caring and gentle. Highly recommend it!to
In my opinion Dr. Jayesh Thawani is the best neurosurgeon doctor. I don't know what I'd do without him. He's very caring, professional and detailed in his explanation of my surgery with me and my entire family. He is definitely an asset to the medical profession.

Dr. Thawani performed a laminectomy and fusing of L4&L5 on me. The nerves to both legs were 97% crushed. Both of my legs would go completely numb. I'm only 56. I'm 3 months in and I am thrilled with my progress. Dr. Thawani did an awesome job! Everyone at the office has been so personable and nice. I would be strongly recommend Dr. Thawani and the staff at Michigan Brain and Spine.
Dr Thawani was understanding, personable and made sure all of my questions and/or concerns were addressed. This was my second visit with Dr Thawani and each time his professionalism and knowledge put me at ease! His ability to connect with me and explain in very easy to understand detail exactly what my test results had been and what our plan of attack would be in the future! I consider myself extremely fortunate to have such an empathetic and knowledgeable doctor as my neurologist!
I have worked in a hospital setting my whole career. I have never met such a kind, caring compassionate physician. He is so knowledgeable in his specialty and gives you 100% of himself and makes sure you are comfortable and understand every detail of the care he is going to give you. He saved my life in removing a large brain tumor without me suffering any deficits. Without hesitation I recommend him to provide the utmost in care.
I was in great pain with a synovial cyst on my lower spine. I was in great pain and found in hard to get around and live a normal life. My own hospital services and available surgeons were available in the distant future. Thanks to friends who had the same difficulty, I took the initiative and sought help elsewhere. I was fortunate to find Dr. Thawani and had a successful and remedial surgery. Dr. Thawani will be highly recommended by me and my friends. I send my sincere appreciation.
Great surgeon, truly cares about his patients and loves his craft. He performed a pretty extensive back surgery on me and I couldn't be happier. If you want someone who immerses himself into each individual case and makes sure that everything is gone over and covered Dr J is for you. Thanks Doc.
