Excellent care, very pleased.
The worst doctor's visit I ever had was with Dr. Proctor. He is very arrogant and rude. Didn't care about my concerns at all. He does the procedures and has his nurse practitioner do the office visits. I would never go back to see him. He did a cystoscopy on me and never looked at my past medical records that were sent months before for him to be aware of my history. When I tried to explain my history, he didn't want to hear about it. The worst doctor ever.
Dr. Proctor needs to work on his bedside manner. He is not very nice in my opinion, & didn't want to listen to me. He got upset when I told him I didn't want to take medicine for my IC bc the medication can make you lose your vision, & he said that's not true. He was very condescending and inpatient. He also did a cystoscopy and hydrodistention on my bladder, with absolutely no anesthesia. I was awake and it was the most excruciating pain I have ever experienced. It felt like literal torture. I was also not given any type of... read more
There were multiple unsuccessful attempts to remove my kidney stones. After my procedure I literally felt like I was going to die!!! My recovery period was long and excruciating!!!
It seemed his only concern was convincing me to take medication for IC which is not at all why I visited him - a possible kidney stone. He was dismissive, not concerned and prescribed medication which could have had horrible side effects because of existing health conditions. When I asked him in our very rushed appointment about taking that medication with an ulcer (a very strong NSAID), his response was "I can't predict the future." Then told me to have a CT scan and come back to see his assistant in a month. I had to wait ... read more
He was dismissive, conceited, impatient, treated me like I was stupid, didn't answer questions, and was deeply uncomfortable talking to me about female sexual health. He was rough during the pelvic exam and did not use enough lubrication. I waited months for a ten-minute appointment. I won't be going back.
Rush appointment, didn’t listen to me. Spoke over me, treated me as if I was a robot. I don’t think I said more than 5 words, he spat off his speech and was frustrated when I was asking questions. Had no interest in hearing what I had to say or listening to my concerns.
Do not go to Dr. Proctor if you are a cash paying customer. He was rude, and insinuated that we could not pay for any further treatment, and made it very oblivious!!!!!.. We left his office with more questions than we came with. I would not even go to a doctor with such unethical views anyways. My husband was in great pain and going to his office left us feeling helpless.
