Dr. Epstein was the best choice ever for a surgeon. After consulting with several doctors in California, he was gracious enough to exchange emails with me as an unknown and unseen patient. I stumbled upon this procedure while looking at a celebrity that use to have a large forehead, then I noticed it looked smaller. Further research led me to this website which was really helpful. I'm 30 and have been self conscious about my forehead since I realized it was huge. It has really taken a toll on my confidence. If I have to ever wear side swept bangs again I will scream. Loud. Please see my overall review. But, I think the stars below, aren't the most accurate reflection of this procedure. It doesn't list a category pertaining to results. And that's what's most important - the results! And in my experience, the results of my eyebrow transplant procedure were extremely poor. Dr Epstein is kind and his staff are warm and professional.
Dr. Epstein was too aggressive in his approach stating that without this strategy, I could only expect 30% improvement. This resulted in additional mistakes he was unable to repair both internally and externally and a worse appearance than before my procedure. He and his business manager acknowledge the worsened appearance but offer no solution as there are no guarantees. I definitely feel I am treated more as a transaction than a human.
Dr. Epstein and his assistants, Cynthia and Elsa, were great. No complaints. I respect their skill and their judgement, and so far it appears they delivered on my high expectations!
Dr. Epstein is professional and attentive to details. I knew of him through some positive online reviews. Communicate sufficiently to him as you would with any cosmetic surgeon, because everyone's definition of beauty is different. Use pictures and sketches to highlight your goals, and you will get wonderful results.
