I purchased insurance online and had a terrible time dealing with them. I got the run around, bait and switch, etc., I have requested a refund several times, in writing and not received it and it has been over a month. I contacted State Farm Insurance Customer Service and could not get it settled but they recommended I talk to the agent. I have an auto loan with State Farm, and would never recommend this company to anyone. I will be telling everyone I know that State Farm is the worst company. Their employees are extremely rude, will talk over you and raise their voice at you. They avoid my calls for days at a time (telling me they will call me before the day ends but they never do). State farm is horrible to work with whenever you have a claim, but they will gladly take your money and "review services" once a year to make more money from you. In 11 years owning my home and having homeowner's insurance through them, I have filed two claims.The first was after a well documented hailstorm went through my area in 2014 and damaged my roof. My parked car was hit by one of their insured, the person accepted fault at the time but State Farm sent me a letter saying they didn't accept fault because I couldn't prove it. I'm working on getting video, then I'm going to sue the driver.

I was in an accident involving a second party under statefsrm insurance. They were spot on addressing my situation and helping me get through. My only concern was in resolving loose ends with the hospital as there were still accounts payable. I am forced to solve this alone in a situation I did not cause and could have been avoided. Communication is key in resolving these issues in a timely manner when the insurance company says "we have your back"

I will not be using, NOR will I recommend State Farm to anyone I know! I got into an accident a couple weeks ago, and the guy who ended up on my case didn't speak to me AT ALL the ENTIRE investigation; and even said I was found at fault because "we need to hurry up and move on from this case". Which makes me feel like I was not priority AT ALL to find the truth to what happened in my accident. State Farm has NOT AT ALL made me feel like a valued customer! I have been a State Farm customer for over 20 years & have always been proud to share that with people. The girls in my local office are friendly, knowledgeable, & helpful. I’d hear people complain about their insurance company high premiums, the lack of support, the denial of claims, & think how blessed I was to be a State Farm customer. As a victim of an accident where the other driver was a State Farm member I have had the worst service ever. They refuse the move the complaint along until they talk to their member, despite the fact that the driver was cited by the police for improper backing. They have been trying to reach their client for 17 days with no success and refuse to begin processing the claim until they "hear his side of the story" Meanwhile I am out a drivable vehicle.
