I am amending my previous review which was critical of the service we received on Sunday night. The follow-up from the manager and manager’s boss made me realize that this restaurant puts a premium on customer service. It is obvious that when Joey Burrard does not meet its high standards they want to make it up to the customer. Their service must match their delectable food options. A special shout-out to the restaurant manager, Kelsey who has high standards for the people that work there. It is not lip service either. ... read more

Hi Patrick, My name is Kelsey Bryant, and I'm the Guest Services Manager at JOEY Burrard. Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I'm so glad to hear you enjoyed the food, I'm truly sorry that the service didn't reflect the standard we strive to provide. Waiting on drinks, having your appetizers arrive with your entrées, and feeling let down by the overall service would certainly take away from the experience. I also appreciate your kind words about our shift leader. I'm glad they were able to step in ... read more

Lovely servers and good food ruined by 2 men sitting at s large table behind us who shouted and shouted at the table mates Maybe trying to impress???? We asked numerous staff to have someone adk them to speak in a normal voice but no one did The restaurant is probably always noisy but no more than others but someone nerded to take responsibility however the restaurant reached out to us to apologize for our experience that evening, this was unexpected and very much appreciated as so many establishments just don’t see to care.... read more

Hi Malcolm, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m so glad to hear you enjoyed the food and found our servers to be lovely, but I’m truly sorry that the behavior of another group impacted your experience. You were absolutely right to bring your concerns to our team, and I apologize that we did not do more in the moment to address the situation and ensure your comfort.
