Service was great. The hostess and our server were super friendly. Our server, Naiomi, was also very helpful with the menu. I always appreciate when the service doesn’t feel automated. She made conversation with us and it didn’t feel like she did because she had to but rather wanted to. Makes the experience feel more genuine and fun.

The bar manager Jai had given us her card after we had such a wonderful time two days prior. We emailed her saying we enjoyed ourselves and were looking to return. She set up a wonderful reservation for us and was at the front to greet us upon arrival

Kalen and Jessie made my celebration so memorable! Came in with some friends and felt so taken care of the entire evening! Kalen got us so many little treats to celebrate my new job, and we were introduced to Jessie as well and she made sure we were well taken care of. Definitely coming back!

We often come in and sit in the bar area and are always warmly greeted by the bar manager Jai we love coming in and feeling to welcomed. She remembers our names and drink preferences every time

Excellent food, great staff, as I get older I notice restaurant noise, it’s always nice to be seated in a quieter location with space between tables, I am always happy dining at Joey Coquitlam

For some unknown reason service was extremely slow. My friend waited 15 minutes before waitress came by to ask what was needed. The food order came very quickly but refills extremely slow. We were there on Friday, Oct 3, 2025. Had reservations for 6:00. My friend arrived at 5:50, got seated immediately but waited over 15 minutes before she was asked what she would like. We go to Joeys all the time. The poor service we got yesterday, I must say, is unusual.
