Our very first date was exactly 7 1/2 years ago to the day in Joey at Sherway Gardens, so I decided it would be a great place to get engaged. After I proposed, the staff was wonderful, treating us to glasses of champagne to toast the occasion, and offering to take pictures of us to commemorate it. Joey probably is not considered your typical venue you would consider for proposing, but it was truly special to the two of us.

We had a wondering time dining at Joey Sherway, as always! Thank you Andrew, our server, for pointing out the new menu and the attention and service provided. It’s nice seeing all staff helping out each other clearing plates. Most of all, we’re appreciative to have Tara check in on us to ensure we were taken care of (that’s service at its highest) .. 🙏🏻.

Almost everything was a great. Taste, ambience and service in general. Only thing that was a little off-putting was that the server was also behind the bar making drinks and in the transition he didn't wash his hands or put on gloves. This would have been fine if he hadn't been handling the food directly but he was touching the garnishes with his bare hands and then putting them into the drinks. Not a huge deal but certainly off-putting.
Very Nice place, however from the start at 6:30 to the time we left 9:30 ...The service is extremely slow, from the time I walked in ... there was food under the table ..I asked for a broom to clear it... the host did remove the food from the floor under the table. I sat at the table for 20 mins before my drink came to the table... my counter parts arrived at 645 and by the time we got our food apps in(730) ... they came to the table and they were quite lovely. 45 mins goes by then our food order taken after the apps have be... read more
Our servers were so attentive and helpful , I’ve always loved Joeys and there is never any disappointment there so I’m not shocked especially at this location but man you’re going to not only enjoy your food but every aspect of your experience! See you next time !
