This location is absolutely stunning. The views of the harbour especially with the christmas lights are amazing. We had a reservation and were able to get a lovely seat on the heated patio. Our reservation was at 430.By 520 we had all entrees and appetizers without a single drink. We asked 3 different servers and they were all checking. We were seated in a booth upstairs last night. The service was not timely (especially for drinks) last night. Most of the time it’s been great in the past, but the service last night was not the best.

I’ve been to Joey Shipyards multiple times and always had a great experience. Unfortunately, this time, we weren’t seated at our preferred table despite noting our preference in advance. However, our server handled it professionally and offered us a table closer to what we had requested. I’ve always loved their hummus and bread, but this time the portion was smaller, and several bread pieces were burnt, which was disappointing.

The food, as usual, was excellent. I don’t think I’ve ever had a bad meal at Joeys. But the service, more often than not, is slow and inattentive. And today was no exception. I love your food Joeys, but the awful service might keep me from coming back. Cactus and Brown’s have good food AND good service.
