Dr Fenley is wonderful. He cares about his patients and is very knowledgeable about the medications he uses to treat people. I highly recommend him.
I started seeing Dr. Fenley 29 years ago. So, you may wonder why I would do that and then give this review. At that time, Dr. Fenley was very professional and listened to my concerns. He let me talk more than he talked. His office staff consisted of one person who was his office person and his only office person until about 10 years ago when he finally got her some help. Have been a patient for over 20 years. Switching to him from another psychiatrist changed my life! Have had disagreements with him at times, but I am a very proactive person and once he saw that, we have worked very well together! He has gone out of his way to help with difficult situations. He feels like extended family to our family, at this point.
Dr. Fenley is a very good doctor. Ladies in his office are very nice and helpful. Would recommend him to a friend!
I've seen Dr. Fenley for many years. The medications he has given me have served me well. I've found him to be compassionate, understanding, and helpful. He treats me with respect and I feel "heard" at my sessions. He referred me to a great therapist for my "talk" therapy. He is a medication doctor not a psychotherapist. I have recommended him to others.
Dr. Fenley requires that all prospective patients be screened. He does not treat anyone who is on a scheduled drug, anyone who wants to get on disability due to mental condition(s), anyone who is involved in any current legal (criminal offenses) issues, etc. His staff is outstanding. They are courteous, pleasant and extremely knowledgable. I found Dr. Fenley to be brilliant on mental disorders and medications. He is very direct, yet easy to talk to. I would recommend him to anyone in need of a good psychiatrist!

Doesn't listen. Doesn't seem to care what problem you are having. I wish there was another provider in the area.
I had been trying to kick a 4yr drug addiction to pills; zanex, clonipin, etc. Dr. Fenley diagnosed me as being bipolar. He started me on a medication regimen that grew to 4 different medications a day, 9 pills a day, including something to make me sleep. In 7 months, not one time did he check any blood levels or effects on my liver. AND imagine what prescribing 9pills a day did for a "pill head".
