Sent our vehicle out for service at Hinderer. They had our vehicle for almost 2 weeks (returned 3 times not fixed). I have called Jason the service manager 3 times and left messages and no returned calls. Time before that service department lied about service performed and charged us for the service. vehicle before that they left the drain plug loose and leaked oil out. Usually a very satisfied customer. This time not so much. Things went done as communicated. Found out cheaper aftermarket parts have better warranty. Did not get a call when my truck was done.
Slow Service My appointment took forever....The appointment was scheduled for 10:30.... max time was to be 3 hours. Appointment time was 5 hours and 15 mins.
My 3 year lease on a Honda lease was expiring in June 10, 2020. I came to the dealer and picked out another Honda Civic for a new lease on May 4, 2020. The salesman , Mr. Strong, gave me a list of options for the car to evaluate. He then left office. When he came back he presented a sales contract which contained charges which I didn’t recognize. I had motor issues after I bought the vehicle on my way home. It was fine on test drive, but issues began on start in the dealership to go home. They fixed some of them, but not all. Now, over a month later I’m still trying to fix an idling issue. I’d never have paid full price on a vehicle in need of repairs, but once you sign the paperwork it’s your problem. The vehicle had a couple of issues the dealer promised they would correct. After repeated calls and emails they never fallowed through. I am very disappointed.
If you like quality customer service don’t go to Hinderer Honda... My car was involved in a flash flood at my works parking lot and hydrolocked the engine... I had my insurance take the vehicle to Hinderer and they claimed the only problem was the starter had shorted out... they replaced the starter without checking anything else and ended up destroying my engine when they turned it over... my insurance gave me a decent payoff to total the car but the payoff quote was for the car with the stock wheels put back on and me keep... read more
As far as the guys I've dealt with directly, they have been great. They have communicated well with me and have been good to me. However, in terms of actual repairs (as opposed to regular maintenance) my experience has not been satisfactory. I had issues with my tires leaking air, and I had an issue with a wheel bearing. I understand these are things that happen, but both issues needed 3+ visits to get resolved. Thieves screwed me out of all my 1,900.00 savings on doing things to my car but the one thing they said they were going to fix and didn't what a joke never will I let them do service on my vehicles ever again and I'm going viral with what they did to me.
