John so wonderful assisting me through the pre-approval process and through closing! John talked with me during the pre-approval process and eased my anxiety and fears of buying my first home. He showed me several different ways the loan could be done to where I was comfortable with the payment. John and his team was there with me every step of the way after putting an offer on the home. They were very knowledgeable about VA loans and gave us all the information we needed to make an informed decision about our loan. Ashlyn always kept us up to date on the status of our loan and what was coming next. John was there to answer our questions and even went into work after hours to get us paperwork we needed for closing. John Mayhue and the Cornerstone team were awesome. They didn’t try too hard to persuade me to get a certain type of loan or rush me into any decision. Instead we went through all of my options and picked the best one. Other lenders will tell you rates are just going to drop and say whatever they can to get you to go with them, but I didn’t experience this with John and cornerstone.
