I came to Dr. Levy after a 5 months old operation performed by another surgeon. After this surgeon did my rotator cuff repair he allowed me to suffer for 4 1/2 months in excruciating pain and I was told over and over my pain was from scar tissue. During that time he never ran a test, did an exam, and disregarded my months of complaints. I finally got an MRI and found out my anchors had backed out of the bone and was causing these months of debilitating pain. Dr. Levy reputation preceded my 1st visit on 12/11/23. I was not disappointed. He reviewed MRI of my right shoulder, indicating full thickness rotator cuff tear(on the top of other problems) and examined shoulder. He recommended conservative approach and didn’t pressure me into surgery. Dr. Levi bedside manners are outstanding, examination and explanations very thorough. Will be back after 6-8 weeks of PT. I feel confident my shoulder is in great hands!

When I finally realized that I needed shoulder surgery, I asked friends if they knew a surgeon to recommend. All of them gave me names of different doctors followed by the same postscript...'that is unless you can get an appointment with Jonathan Levy.' And I DID get an appointment with Dr. Levy.
