Almost painless. Follow the program and you cannot miss. His staff is excellent.
Simply put, Dr. Levy saved my life by putting my arm/elbow back together after a very bad fracture.
I was having trouble with my left shoulder was able to get into see Dr. Leavy pretty quickly he evaluated my problem and gave me a Cortizone shot guided by ultrasound it relieved a lot of myself in a short time would highly recommend Dr. Leavy
The PA was great as always. When I told the receptionist that I wasn’t seeing Dr levy she said it says you are. I am a physician from NJ MIT grad so have some brain cells An hour wait for a 2 minute shot. Not acceptable. Not the PA fault. Just inefficient medicine delivery like I find everywhere but how I practiced
He said he wasn’t sure if the surgery will work after telling me he wouldBe able to helpMe.

After waiting 3 months for my surgery Dr Levy decided not to do it & chose to have his PA tell me 5 days before instead of having the decency to tell me himself!

I was seeing Dr. Levy for medial epicondylitis of the elbow. I found his demeanor to be good at first but when he does not feel that the outcome will be good he tends to be defensive and discourages you from the repair. I questioned how he does his surgery for this type of injury and he took offense to that and begrudgingly finally discussed the procedure. The way he does it, does not give you high hopes for a long lasting repair. I choose not to use him and am going to another doctor who's technique will give me a better re... read more
Business response:
I am sorry our extensive discussions and emails did not meet your expectations. As a surgeon dedicated to evidence based practice, I track my patient outcomes. Unfortunately, my experience with medial epicondylitis surgery has been unpredictable. While last resort surgery can be done, I have not seen reliable and reproducible results. That's not to say surgery cannot be successful, it's just less predictable. I imagine that this information was difficult for you to hear. I wish you the best!
This may be a good doctor but staff Sara Blum and Krystal Buckland are horrible They scheduled me for surgery and direct me to arrive at 5am... I showed up and found out the HealthPlex doesn’t open until 6...
Business response:
Immediately realizing you were not present for your 7am surgery, I called you in attempt to apologize for this misunderstanding and give you an opportunity to return for your surgery any time that day. Unfortunately, this was an unsuccessful effort. As you were previously made aware, we advise our patients to arrive early for surgery to give registration, anesthesia, and nursing appropriate time to get you ready. I apologize for any inconvenience the additional early arrival may have caused.
Dr. Levy is one of those doctors who only cares about insurance compensation & making money. The entire office is like a factory, geared up to take patients in, operate, and spit them out without any regards to the well-being, post-operative care and physical therapy of the individual. He performed a total shoulder replacement on my right arm. After 6 weeks of immobilization, 6 weeks of arm circles, I was given a script for PT. Per OR records, muchpain to inner bicep, deviations occured in Sx.
Business response:
It is always difficult to respond to an anonymous comment like this, but I would like to respond by reiterating my treatment philosophy after shoulder replacements. Physical Therapy is initiated immediately after surgery as a self directed program. The therapy exercises typically transition at 6 weeks with a focus on stretching and restoration of motion. At 3 months, lifting restrictions are typically removed as patients return to activities. Our published results support this protocol!
