My appt with Dr. Peji was great. I didn't have to wait more than a few minutes to be seen, and Dr. Peji was thorough, listened to and answered my questions, and explained what to expect with my upcoming procedure.
Dr. Peji is thorough, answers all your questions and takes the time to examine you, listen to you when you talk, and never rushes you. She is the best GI specialist I know and she knows her field. I would highly recommend her.
My rheumatologist did some bloodwork that had some abnormalities and she sent the results to Dr Peji. Dr Peji saw me immediately and then got me on schedule for colonoscopy right away that was tough during Holiday season. Colonoscopy showed cancer and she found me a surgeon that got me in between Christmas and New Years. They got it before it had spread and surgery resulted in being cancer free! From bloodwork to surgery was less than a month, thanks to Dr. Peji.
Dr Peji was very caring and responsive. Thorough in seeking and understanding how I was feeling. Had an endoscopy quickly with results thoroughly covered. Also really like her PA!
After frustration with feeling I was not getting all the help with my digestive issues I needed, I was referred to Dr. Peji's practice. She did not hastily order more tests but chose to look at my previous ones. Dr. Peji listened to my request for guidance from a dietician. I talked to Lori Woodward the following day, got much needed help on what foods to avoid, recipes and sample meal plans. After only a few days, I feel like I am finally taking steps to remedy my problems.
Dr. Peji has horrific bedside manner which is why I have to leave 3 stars. I felt very hurt by her. However, she knows her stuff and is incredibly intelligent and I appreciate her expertise.
I never had a colonoscopy & was 10 years overdue for routine screening. Everything went smoothly between visit & procedure at Northside Hospital GI Lab. I highly recommend Dr Peji!
Dr. Peji was professional, she knows what she does. No nonse approach, some can not see her insight on medical matters and treatment. She thoroughly investigated, listened attentively, examined and suggested the next step for Colonoscopy and Endoscopy for me for which I am thankful. I will recomend this doctor for good care and result.
I agree with other comments here - She may know her stuff (many Drs do) but her demeanor and bedside manner are among the worst (if not THE worst) I've ever experienced. I have never felt more rushed through an appointment. I have experienced Drs who express varying degrees of empathy or patience - Of all doctors in my past, she expresses the least of both.
