Appointments are usually timely which is much appreciated. Sandy was thorough while cleaning my teeth, but paid attention to what I said. she did a great job!
Very professional The exam was scheduled to make a long term plan for replacing some old crowns. The dentist explained every issue with my teeth and used x-rays and pictures to explain what was going on. I left feeling like I knew the correct direction to take.

Great Service You can go to any dentist and get your teeth clean, but when you get that and a personal experience. They care about your hygiene. Explain you in deep detail what is being done and how to take better care of your teeth. Definitely you feel like family. I totally recommend JP Dental.
Very friendly and comfortable atmosphere from the time you walk in to the time you leave My son has had many great experiences while in to see hygiene. Today he was in for a filling and I was very pleased that he did not have to get numb for the procedure . Dr. Poovey made him very comfortable and the assistant was great. First visit experience. I was pleased with the friendliness and flexibility of the staff in meeting my specific needs as a dental patient. I was impressed with Sandy, my hygienist, in respect to her thoroughness and competence in assessing the condition of my teeth and in performing the cleaning. I found Dr. Poovey to be knowledgeable, thorough and with an easy going and friendly manner. Overall, I was quite positively impressed with the office and staff.
Clean, friendly high quality service. Semi annual cleaning done professionally. No waiting as the appoints have always started on their scheduled time. In the past I had an implant and everything went great and as explained before the procedure. I have had no problems with the excellent work provided by Dr. John Poovey and his staff.
After my Dentist leaving town I needed to start all over again finding someone to trust that I felt comfortable with so its been awhile since I've been to a dentist. I need a lot of work done on my teeth, and was a little embarrassed about seeing a Dentist, But they made me feel so comfortable and didn't judge me. They are So professional and caring to helping me get my teeth healthy again. I would recommend them to a friend.
OOPS! Should have been 5 stars - didn't click the stars and ended up with 1 star. Everyone I've dealt with at this office has been very professional and answered all my questions. I had my upper implants done with a dentist, oral surgeon and lab and was in the chair for over 10 hours. With my temporary dentures in for 4 months I could clean them fine - they even commented on how clean I was keeping them. After an additional 6 months and numerous visits, I still couldn't clean my permanent dentures and my gums would bleed. Dr... read more
