The team worked hard to get us earlier closing and was patient and thorough requesting the docs from us. I would have appreciated more up front expectations or timelines. Specifically, once the contract was set “get that 50k from the 401k loan, because it’ll arrive in 2-5 days and then take 10 days to clear, and then actually be useful for closing paperwork.” There also seemed to be a disconnect between the loan processor and the document management system.
