He has excellent bedside manner, he takes all the time to explain what’s going on, how he plans to treat it, and never makes you feel like he’s rushing to leave when you have questions. I highly recommend Dr. Forde for anyone who is suffering from Achalasia or any gastric issues! He's confident, reassuring, and very knowledgeable He's very thorough in his work and takes his time explaining everything, before him I could not eat or swallow which caused me to have a lot anxiety and effected my social life, since he performed my POEM procedure I have been able to finally enjoy meals again, gain my weight back and enjoying every day life!! We've been waiting for Dr. Forde to surgically treat pancreatitis for 9 months. He keeps postponing the surgery, and only once was it postponed for a medical reason. Last night, my friend's spleen finally ruptured due to untreated pancreatitis. She almost died due to internal bleeding and is now in the ICU. Spleen ruptures happen to patients with UNTREATED chronic pancreatitis. She's been under Dr. Fordes care for 9 months.
