Terrible Experience, and I Felt Like I Was Going to Die. I had a very bad experience with this doctor. She is only out to make. lot of money and doesn't care about the safety and best interests of her clients. She did a sloppy job on a mommy makeover. She left incision scars on visible areas on my body from liposuction. She left a hoard scar over my breasts and abdomen from the abdominoplasty and she is not an artist. I do not think she is very skilled when compared to results from other doctors I am seeing on here. She inst... read more
I visited Dr. Horton after meeting with 5 different cosmetic surgeons across the West Coast. She was recommended by two cosmetic surgeons in the Sacramento area that told me my case was extremely difficult, and she would be my best bet. Two years prior to meeting Dr. Horton, I had a very negative experience with a surgeon who left my breasts hard, uneven, unnatural looking and painful. I knew...
Run fast and far. She absolutely butchered me and 10 years on I’m still dealing with it. Just got out of the hospital where I had to do a flap reconstruction because of her horrible choices when I had breast cancer. What were those? One was when a suture fell out, and I was leaking some kind of fluid, she stitched me back up in her office with no local anesthetic, no antibiotics and no gloves. That led to a raging MRSA infection which landed me in emergency surgery. There she decided it would be smart to put the infected imp... read more
Dr. Horton is a decent surgeon with a rough hand. Her post operative wound care is lacking, and her surgical infection site care was downright negligent. She dismissed my infection as merely a blister and left me to suffer. Only after I showed up at her office after her insistence not to did she realize her mistake. I shutter to think what would have happened if I was not so insistent.
Regret. I've just had surgery from another plastic surgeon to fix her mistakes. I never told the new surgeon her name but he can't believe the work she did on me. She basically gave me a facelift with lipo under the chin and called it a necklift. I feel duped by her. I trusted her as a skilled professional when she is not.
I am a post-op transgender client of 9 years. I have been in contact with her office for over a year while in school to perform a labioplasty. After a wonderful conversation with the Dr. in which she agreed to perform the procedure stating it was completely reasonable to do, a simple matter of debulking and a far less severe a case than other clients whom she had even wondered how they could walk. I even asked if there would be any concern regarding possible anatomical differences and she stated it would not be an issue. I c... read more
I've been following you all on realself for months, trying to decide exactly what I want for my BA. Now my operation date is coming up (8 days!!!) so I'm making my own page.Thank you all for posting your own pages and comments - they've helped me so much. I've always been an AA to barely A, and have felt disproportionate because of it. I remember as a preteen looking at bras and being so excited thinking that soon I'd be able to wear them. Flash forward almost 20 years now and I still could be wearing my training bra. Now fi... read more
At my initial consultation, I found Dr. Horton to be very attentive and understanding. I felt validated in my concerns and comfortable that she knows what my issues are and can address them.
