Dr. Walker is fantastic!! My mother has gone to her for years and I switched over about 5 years ago.
Dr Walker has been my GYN for 20 years and I can not say enough good things about her. She really understands women and is first and foremost in her field. She was recommended to me by highly reputable MDs at the University of Michigan. I had to wait 5 years before my name came up on her waiting list. She is kind and caring and will fit you in if you need to see her. I would not even think of seeing anyone else even if I moved out of the area. I'm sorry to hear that the only other reviewer had such an awful experience. Both my mother and I have been seeing Dr. Walker (formerly Bartsch) for years. My mother has been seeing her for over a decade and refuses to see anyone else because she has been so wonderful to us. I have never had an experience like this with any other physician. First, her nurse was short, rude and inconvenienced. Dr. walker screamed and belittled one of the office staff for scheduling my appointment at a time when she had to leave for an activity with her children. She was rough, blunt in the fact that on this visit we could not discuss anything else because insurance would not pay her for it. ... and a day and a half after seeing her and having her tell me I was just having a little trouble, wasn't bleeding that heavily, I was in the ER with other doctors telling me Dr. Walker had made some serious mistakes handling my case. They admitted me to the hospital and gave me blood transfusions and got the problem under control within a couple days after weeks of useful help from Dr. W.
