Avoid. A recent visit and willing to pay out of pocket for what I thought would be top service resulted in not meeting my expectations. For about $400 for a perio visit (keep in mind that I have had spent $1,500 for a quad deep cleaning within the past 12 months followed by a general cleaning 6 months prior) I simply wanted to get a "perio professional" assessment to make sure I was on tract. It would be difficult for me to overstate how appreciative I am of Dr. Smith's practice. He's a periodontist, which if you've been referred to one it generally means you're likely to have moderate to serious issues and probably haven't been to a dentist in a while. (like me) He's professional. He's sensitive to all the anxiety. He's completely transparent. He's got the latest technology.
