Three replacements completed with great results!
Had both knees and left hip replaced by Dr Schultz in the last year. No complaints here. Great doctor. Very personable.
Dr. Schultz replaced two of my hips which function well now for over 7 years and he treats me with caring respect and advice when I seek him out for help with other age-related joint problems.
Dr. Schultz is a highly skilled surgeon with a great bedside manner. He explains things in a manner that I can understand and follows through.
Dr Scultz is brilliant. He repaired my knee after another surgeon messed up my total knee replacement. A genuinely nice doctor who really listens and gets to the bottom of things - and then fixes the problem. I trust him completely. Every member of the staff is pleasant and the facilities are top notch. I am forever grateful for his expertise, and recommend him to the highest degree.
Very nice doctor and I will get my 2nd knee done by him.
I recommend Dr. Schultz as an Orthopedic Surgeon because he cares. He is professional and very likable. Prior to my surgery I was terrified! Although I had been seen by another surgeon, I did not have any level of comfort and assurance I was looking for. After talking to Dr. Schultz I knew my quality of life would improve. It is important for a provider to educate and inform the patient of related risk and benefits. He is top-notch! A+ I would recommend him to anyone needing joint replacement.
Dr Schultz did my hip replacement in 2015. I had severe quad pain that started in the hospital, right after surgery was completed. He had me come back every month, and took an x-ray every month, for 15 months. He kept telling me that he couldn't figure out what was causing the pain and that it could take up to two years. I had a revision by a different Dr. in 2017. The pain stopped immediately.
I would not recommend Dr. Schultz for a posterior hip replacement. I was very unhappy with my outcome & ended up having a revision done a year later with a UofM doctor. I had a 1.75" difference in actual height between standing on each foot. I did my exercises faithfully, went to PT & saw many doctors. Nothing improved this difference. Dr. Schultz never took any responsibility for my outcome. After my second surgery at UofM I am very happy with my outcome.
