This entire process was ridiculous. My Husband and I have a fantastic credit score, have never had an issue getting a loan of any kind. My husband has been self employed for 38 years. It seemed as if this company didn't understand the tax papers of self employment. They insisted that my daughter pay of here student loan, that I only co signed for. She has never missed a payment. This entire process was the most time consuming, frustrating experience that I have encountered.
Presented a excellent credit history spanning over 50 years; investments coupled with debt free properties totaling 5 times this property value; annual income far exceeding what is required for this loan debt; absolutely no other existing debt. Despite that the loan approval process was dragged out creating a delay in closing and nearly a complete shutdown of the loan itself. Now we learn Equifax was used.
