Best hand surgeon out there. Caring, considerate and puts you at ease with complete explanations and a great sense of humor! Wouldn’t use anyone else.
Dr. Raskin is the best surgeon out there. He did what we though was impossible and fixed my mothers paralyzed hand. His staff is caring, friendly and professional. He turned a traumatizing life experience into a positive. We have the utmost gratitude to him and would HIGHLY suggest him. There's no-one better.
I am a very active 82 year old woman who developed a very bad arthritic condition in two of my right hand knuckles. This caused a debilitating problem with my fingers and range of motion. My entire hand was basically crippled from it. Dr, Raskin was able to perform surgery which included a knuckle replacement and a tendon repair which gave me full use of the right hand and a much better looking hand afterwards. My experience with Dr. Raskin and his whole team was extraordinary. They were very caring and responsive especially... read more
I want to share my story so people will understand how Dr. Raskin saved my finger and provided extraordinary care and kindness to me along the way. If you are suffering from a hand injury, do not lose hope! I can tell you from personal experience that Dr. Raskin is an exceptional surgeon and a person of great dedication and decency. His care, and that of his team, is unsurpassed. On March 14, I suffered a dog bite to my left hand. My middle finger was lacerated deeply through the bone - my finger almost fully amputated. An e... read more
Dr. Raskin was recommended to me by a very well respected eye surgeon. I was in severe pain and he healed me completely. His physician assistant Ashley was amazing too. You will be in the best of hands. Truly
DR.Raskin saved my left hand in 1994!.IM AM SO GRATEFUL HES THE BEST!
When I fractured my index finger on my dominant hand, I had no idea whether or not I needed surgery, but was told that if I did end up needing surgery, I’d need to have the procedure ASAP; otherwise, the bones would start to heal incorrectly on their own. I was desperate for guidance, but unable to find a hand surgeon in Portland, OR - where I live - who would see me on short notice; and so, my family doctor in New York referred me to Dr. Raskin. When I called Dr. Raskin’s office out of the blue, I was hoping only that som... read more
I saw Dr. Raskin after seeing a different hand surgeon, who, after many months and multiple cortisone shots, told me that there was nothing else he could do for the pain and loss of strength in my dominant hand and wrist. Dr. Raskin started conservatively with a cortisone shot. Unlike all the other shots I have had on various parts of my body, Dr. Raskin utilized an ultrasound to pinpoint the injection exactly into the joint. Unfortunately, the shot did not provide long-term relief. Dr. Raskin suggested surgery, which I ag... read more
Dr. Raskin has treated, and treated well, every member of my family. My younger son, a high school baseball catcher and soccer goalie, received immediate and expert attention for injuries over the course of a number of years to nine of his ten fingers. Equally fine care was extended to my husband for sports-related injuries, to me for fall-related broken bones, to my older son, for a work-related hand infection, and to my housekeeper, for a minor surgical issue. Even for non-hand-related issues, we turn first to Dr. Raskin's... read more
