Let's be real. Yes, the servers are friendly but nobody cares about the ambiance when they go to Keke's. You go there because you want perfectly cooked eggs, fluffy pancakes, and hot coffee. You go there because you want to eat good food, for good prices, in a well run place, and Keke's will never let you down.
Well another pleasant surprise. A little strip mall breakfast place with HUGE pancakes. I got the blueberry pancakes and I could not finish 2. One would have been enough. My server was Ashley and she warned me of the size and she was right. I took half of my meal on the road for a snack later. When in Boynton Beach.. stop into Keke's for a good breakfast.
First time at KeKe's was a great experience! Host sat us within 10 minutes. Food was amazing and came out promptly. From the omelet, to the waffles and French toast, everything was amazing! However our actual server's service did not live up to the rest of the restaurants service. It took her over 8 minutes to greet us. After we got our coffee and water she wasn't to be seen again until we started our meals. She asked if we needed anything else and I asked for extra napkins and whip cream. Food was great! Out server Felicity was pleasant and efficient. I love my French toast well done, it wasn't crispy enough for me and I was just going to eat it, but she assured me she would have it made to my liking. She brought it back cooked to perfection.
Passed by this place and decided we must try it out. So a few days later we went for breakfast. Our server was so amazing. Very friendly and very attentive. After her service, we decided that we would only go and ask for her. Her name is Rhonda. We had breakfast and when I ordered the combo with 2 pancakes, Rhonda said I would not even get through one. We have only been here for breakfast, but we have been many times. The breakfast is great and the service is usually good. The only down side is there is usually a wait, especially on weekends so be ready for that. I like their omelettes and also their combos and their french toast is great. Definitely a good breakfast spot.
Hidden gem right gateway and Congress... great menu, fabulous service (so sweet and friendly), and the food is really good.
I actually like Keke's, great service and a really good atmosphere but the breakfast here just isn't all that great. Keke's are apparently only up north in Palm Beach, etc. I've never seen any of these in Fort Lauderdale so that's great. Very different, decent breakfast spot.
