First and last time going! spent $1000, couldn't go in with my dog so I don't know how he was treated. I dropped off Insurance papers to be completely on the 14th, on the 20th I called and they don't know where the paperwork is. Will call me back. Dr. Hawkins calls back and because I was upset at the incompetence said Im rude! I asked why paperwork wasn't sent and was told I didn't sign it, ok fine. Why didn't someone call me and I had to call u a week later, her excuse WE ARE VERY BUSY. Not too busy to take my money though.... read more

They shouldn't give animals shots that the pet parent doesn't want. The first time we went we told them not to give the dog the Bordella shot. She doesn't go any where. This time I called for a heart worm test. When we got there I asked for nail trimming too. When they brought her back out to the car (Covid plan) they said we were charged for heart worm test, Bordella, and for a nail trim. Im not really one to bash any business on Facebook but hopefully this shortened version of what has been happening the last few weeks will save someone from taking their animals to Elma animal hospital because i am in absolute shock how the “Elma animal hospital” treats the patients that come in their doors as well as the people. Be accountable, when failing to provide the level of service we got in the beginning, and now watch excuses and finger-pointing at the risk of the health of our pets, that's when it becomes concerning. The Dr' or Techs, they are great, but the office staff mistakes and the manager is unreliable and unprofessional. Kim Klemotowski's reaction is somewhat concerning since her staff failed on several occasions in the past 6mo's.
