Not your patient advocate; hung up on me when I called regarding serious cramping and potential herniated abdominal bowel, shortness of breath? Stay away for you own health and well being. A very emotionally detached gastroenterologist; boasts about income and rarely returns urgent patient called-in concerns.
finally someone agrees! He is impatient, intolerant, moody explosive, very very impressive —-at the first one or two visits. snaps at you, Holds nothing back. you feel something bubbling below the surface. attentive at calling you back. I think he’s better if younger Expects you to remember what he told you when you getting out of sedation. irritated if you DON’T. Those who love him ......just don’t send your parents there!!!!!!!!!!!! nightmare
I don’t know how people are giving him good ratings. He is the least proactive doctor I have ever encountered. He never remembers my case/symptoms and sits there and reads the file in front of me, totally unprepared for our appointment. He never has a solution other than to “keep taking your medicine.” I had to keep following up to get colonoscopy results and then when I finally got him on the phone, he hadn’t looked at them and made up a diagnosis on the fly, which he changed later based on the same test results. horrible!!
I have never experienced poor quality of patient care as I have with Dr. Collier. When I saw him, I had been battling an extreme gastrointestinal issue for several months. He ignored my description of the symptoms. He forgot my symptoms every time I saw him, ignored me when I did tell them to him, and repeated tests I already received instead of giving me new tests for my issues. I will never see him or visit Capital Digestive Care ever again. My health issues have been going on for over a year.
