I'm a patient being discharge soon. Wanted to let you know about my care throughout my stay. The nurses and CNA,s were so kind ,knowledgeable, they also have great listening skills. They were also extremely professional . I would have like to spent more time with the doctors they were always on the run. House keeping did a great with keeping my room looking and smelling good. On behalf of my family I would like to thank the staff and Kindred Chicago Lakeshore. My mom was there for a couple of months. I would like to send a special thankyou to the High Acuity Unit. Nurse Sue, Fernado, T.J., and the nurse with the distinct voice (sorry I forgot your name) and the entire team was very tenative to my mom's needs and took excellent care of her. When my husband was admitted to Kindred from Vista hospital in Waukegan. We were apprehensive not to mention just really unsure. But I tell you this, my husband after a few days of extra care at Kindred his prognosis improved dramatically. Each day he improved with the care and therapy that he received. After being in the hospital for the same thing twice before my sister’s doctor recommended Kindred Hospital Lakeshore for extended care.
