The staff at Kindred are so caring. Michael, our Patient Advocate, was wonderful to work with during our 4 month stay at Kindred. He was very helpful and always went out of his way to answer questions as well as taking time to listen to our concerns. He made such a positive difference in our stay at Kindred. Dr Yaeger, the head of Kindred, is extremely knowledgeable and always makes himself available to discuss his patients with their family members. Ashley Hersey, the Liaison for Kindred, was a bright spot in our time at Kindred. A caring and compassionate woman who really made a difference in our time in hospitals. She even gave me a care package when she saw how hard of a time I was having being so far from home. We have been in and out of hospitals for the last 11 months with my dad. Kindred is a hospital that wants the best for the patients. The whole stay we were treated like family the whole staff is passionate about what they do. Dr. Miller is a great neurologist my dad had many complications and was tough to figure out Dr. Miller never gave up until he found what worked best for my dad. I am probably one of the youngest patients Kindred has probably seen - when I left the hospital I was at after my accident (where I did not receive nearly as compassionate care), I was a bit hesitant about Kindred. It seemed a little run down with some less traditional staff. But during my stay here everyone was so incredibly kind. Hi i can tell you that i came in complicated with needs and care. Thanks to a knowledgable staff i have had healing physically,mentally and spirittally. I have so many people to thank Shirley my CNA and Crystal Perez ok here is alot of people who contribited to putting me bac together again.My case manager David whom still has his hair and Micheal the advocate.well Monday its back to Vail home.
