I attended services today (Mother's Day) at the urging of my daughter. I hadn't been there since she was confirmed in 2005. The second I stepped in the church I felt the Holy Spirit with me....I had goosebumps...and then they sang the first song that had the message..."Today is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it"..this is very important to me since that is what my Mom would say every Sunday morning while getting ready for church. She has been gone 7 years but today, she was definitely with me......
This has been my home church for 18 years. Almost nineteen now. I was out of state 12 of those years and when I came back the pastor recognized me and called me by name. In a church this size, that's amazing!
