UPDATE: What used to be good service and glowing reviews, has gone into the toilet. Extremely sloppy work with no oversight for quality control. Mechanics are not thorough and miss many items that if addressed early on would not be costly repairs later. There does not seem to be a manager who cares about the level of service. Kwik Kar on Boat Club Road has lost our business.
I’ve used this location for years for all kinds of work. They’ve always been pretty good, but this time, I cannot recommend them… won’t be back. In December my brakes were squealing. They said I needed a front brake job so I paid around $350 to have it done. I had the rear brakes done about 3 weeks ago. The front has never stopped squealing. I took it back in June. DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL! WORST PLACE! I came to the kwik lube in white settlement location (unfortunately they don’t have a Facebook page for me to leave a review on, so I’m sharing here in hopes to reach corporate. I went here for a full service and oil change including both new oil and air filters and the synthetic wash. I didn’t even make 5 minutes down the road before my car started smoking and just completely died. If you need oil change and routine maintenance, these guys are fine. If you need anything else, I suggest you talk directly to Ray, the Manager and no one else. Ray is honest and knows his stuff, the others there are hit and miss. If you watch closely, you can get good results. If you leave it to them without watching closely, it can get dicey. By the way, I have done business with this Kwik Kar since they opened.
Horrible service. Took over 1 HR to do an oil change. When asked to speak to the person. In charge, all he could do is off excuses. I do not recommend this place.
