We are a family owned flooring store. The business was originally opened in May of 1977 as a residential flooring store. We continued to grow and expand and in the 80's ventured out into the commercial market. In 2012 the family decided to open a second location as a Mohawk Floorscapes store located in Marion, IL.

L & P Carpet is the best flooring company around! Not only do they do amazing work, but they are very personable and care so much about their customers! The installers are super fast, they did a bunch of work for the property management company I work for and we were in a time crunch that we didn’t think was possible. We let them know and asked if it would be possible and they had installers there the NEXT day and did an entire apartment in ONE day to make sure we were happy!
Kyle and his team are top notch. We hired then to handle all of our flooring needs during a recent renovation project that included remodeling 10 duplexes. They were quick, professional and outer floors look great
I'm not sure who the people dealt with who have left these 5* reviews. I can in no way leave a good review with the management experience I had. My husband and I have used L&P a few times in the past, but when I needed flooring last summer, the gentleman who we had always dealt with was not there. I purchased laminate flooring for my entire house. During the two weeks of installation (I was told it would take a couple of days when I asked at the time of purchase. He was helpful price was right I got indoor outdoor carpet remnants 5x5 for 40. Just the color I wanted and good size perfect
