Came here with my colleagues to meet up and work for a few hours until our work event that was near the Santa Monica area, and I will for sure be coming back when I'm near the area! I got a yummy matcha latte with oat milk that was sweet but not too sweet and the matcha taste was impeccable! Loved being able to work with my colleagues where the shop had a few outlets (definitely need to come early to save seats/outlets) and had such an LA vibe!
If you're looking for a vibe and people watching in a cafe with decent matcha drinks and coffee. La La is the place. I am a lover of all things Matcha and wanted to give them a try. Service fast 4 straight, matcha latte 3.5 decent and tried something new with lavender to sweet. Ambiance 4. I hear they have great coffees and espresso.
Lovely sunny vibes but the service was a bit cold. My La La Latte was decent - the matcha flavor was not strong and the foam had good texture but wasn't particularly tasty. The financier I got was pretty yummy but the pastries looked like ones I've seen at other cafes in LA. Store wasn't super clean and didn't seem maintained very well, maybe because it gets so much foot traffic?
A cute cafe with lots of drink options! I got an oat milk latte with the secret sauce and it was okay. For $8, it's super pricey. There's complimentary still and sparkling water on tap. But you really pay for the ambiance at this location! One of my top matcha spots in LA. I always order ahead to beat the line because it can get busy and cramped. The la la cloud top is so yummy and so far they have always been consistent with their drink quality. Staff seem friendly, though I don't interact too often with them, but they're trying their best. The syrupy matcha lattes can get sweet though if you don't have a huge sweet tooth! Recommend the la la latte or world's best vanilla latte.
Pretty average drinks, but the pastries are wonderful! The seating is awkward inside, but there's nice outdoor seating.
Amazing place for work! Also, their lavender bloom matcha latte is the best matcha I have ever had.
Very fun drinks in a cute aesthetic space. Definitely gives LA vibes. The drinks are super colorful and taste pretty good too. A bit expensive but you're paying for the aesthetic. The butterfly matcha was the best out of the 3 drinks we got- tasted like fruity pebbles!
The secret sauce in the matcha tasted like marshmallow syrup in a way...not super maple adjacent like the worker said but I really loved the flavor
